Clinic Technician (LPN) GI Associates & Endoscopy Center seeks an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work as a Clinic Technician 

Patient Care  Assists with scheduling office visits, procedures, tests, treatments, and referrals Verifies all patient information insurance, procedure history, family history, current medical condition, allergies, and current medications Prepares patients for examination and treatment Takes vital signs and assists patients to and from the exam rooms Phones in prescriptions as directed by physician Issues patient information/materials and samples as directed by physician Notifies patient of test results, re-calls, and physician's recommendations Documents information in patient charts 

Supplies, Equipment, and Room Preparation Changes out all sharps containers in bays Prepares exam rooms with the necessary supplies  Cleans and disinfects rooms as needed at end of each day Prepares and maintains inventory of supplies and equipment for patient care Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner

Education and/or Experience Graduation from a standard four (4) year high school or equivalent (GED) and two (2) year(s) of experience in work related to the above-described examples or Degree or certificate from an accredited two (2) year college, university or technical school with qualification as a Licensed Practical Nurse and at least One (1) year(s) of full time work experience in work related to the above described examples
